Literacy Volunteers of the Tarrytowns has helped hundreds of residents in our community to learn to read, write and speak English.  Our focus has always been on one-to-one tutoring to help each learner reach their goals.  Our volunteers give their time, but we also need to supply them with training and materials to help our learners. Please help us continue our work as our founders intended.

We are a 100% volunteer organization and all of your gift to Literacy Volunteers of the Tarrytowns will go to training more tutors, and providing them with the materials to serve more learners. Literacy Volunteers of the Tarrytowns meets the requirements of Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3) and is exempt from federal income tax as a charitable organization.
